The agent I get most of my work from mainly deals in Weddings and I know December is not the best month so if anyone needs a Dj to help out/pass work onto prefer in Cheshire I could be your man........just to give you an idea recent / comming venues include Carden Park nr Chester....Norton Priory Runcorn.....Rookery Hall Nantwich....La Rioja Nantwich.........Nunsmere Hall......Haigh Hall Wigan......have a pair of the new Mackie SRM 450's, Dj booth type stand with LED cloth as seen at the AMPDJ Wigan & Bolton's first Dj meet up...........

What you up to poaching my turf...lol...Rookery is my res, I'm doing there all over christmas

The Ramada in chester wanted me to do the Christmas season again this year but I turned it down basically because I have done it for 6 years in a row and wanted a change, dunno if its worth you dropping them a pack or making a telephone call in case they haven't sorted it yet, they usually do about 20 or so nights inc. NY and pay £280 and double for NY, its not too bad as most nights you can leave the kit set-up. Also, most of the nights are with tribute acts so they're fairly easy nights. I know they use an agency for the acts and also when they struggle for a DJ so they might be sorted but its worth checking it out.

Thanks for that Andy, dont worry Rookery is just a one off wedding, they were just an example of venues worked/working in not that was wanting to go back, will give the Ramada a go, have done The Ramada Jarvis Blackrod for several years, also Lancaster and a few at The Ramada Plaza Southport..........

I was messing about Rookery, I have done there for about 7 or 8 years now, they use me and then another DJ called Jed who funnily enough I have only ever met once but he is a nice chap and then they will go to an agency if both of us are booked. If I am to be perfectly honest the main reason I am doing Christmas there is that through Jan, Feb and Mar they are doing Winter Wedding Specials and so far I have 42 bookings for them during those 3 months so I felt a bit awkward about doing elsewhere in Dec. How did you get on with Wayne, he has a strange sense of humour but he's a top bloke and we get on really well.

Its ok Andy I knew you was pulling my leg, not at Rookery until end of August...well done you for picking up all of those weddings for next year......
