Hi,
My name is Tony and have just joined the forum ,re your MEP 7000 i have two and they are quite tricky to set up,Firstly you need to format in Fat 32 look on the web for a format tool HP format tool this is a free download at works fine stay away from swissknife which crashes ,once you have all your tunes on your hard drive you then need to run them through MP3 validator anthoer free download this will check all your files and fix any bugs.
Allways use mains powered hard drive and if you are using a usb keyboard make sure this is attached via a mains powered hub, dont switch on the Mep 7000 till you have pluged all your hard drives and key board in live then switch on your MEP and let it find your units hope this helps.
