Disco City Re-released...

So why re-release the Disco City forums?

Disco City DJ Forums was closed due to the lack of time DFB staff had to dedicate to it. The forum became run down and in quite a bad state, getting hit by masses of spam. It was a little bit like a deralict building that people we're trying to keep upright, but we simply could not do it with such time restrictions.

DFB Sound & Light Warehouse Ltd. has grown year on year and is, without a doubt, one of the largest Sound, Lighting, DJ Equipment & Electronics retailers in the UK today. DFB started out with www.soundlightuk.com and www.discocity.co.uk (both managed by Simon) and now boasts a portfolio of 5 active websites.

In June 2008 DFB managed to secure a deal to operate www.discostudio.co.uk which then allowed the owners of Disco Studio to integrate their technical and IT skills into DFB's portfolio making DFB probably the most technologically advanced company in the DJ & entertainment industry today.

With the extra pairs of hands, this now allows DFB to dedicate more time to what they do best which is providing a great retail/hire/chat service and leaving the website operations to the relevant people.

This forum has been re-created with a new look and the very latest software to ensure that it's resilient against viruses and spammers.

Q. What can I / can't I do on this forum?
A. We are writing some guidelines over the next few weeks, for now, please just be sensible.

Q. Spam, will it return?
A. We have taken every step to ensure that spam will not infultrate this forum.

Q. Can I have a signature?
A. Yeah, ofcourse and a link to your website - but please link back to us, it's only fair...

Q. Can retailers Advertise Here?
A. Yes - definately - there is a forum for all retailers... (Retailer Offers) Any retailer is welcome to advertise anything they want in this forum. The only thing we ask is that you be reliastic and post one offer per day.

We are striving to make this forum seem as independent as possible and to make it more enjoyable, we do believe that it should be somewhere that everyone can enjoy.
